CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati men's basketball head coach Wes Miller has set his full staff for the 2024-25 season.
Of the five assistant coaches, associate head coach Chad Dollar and Andre Morgan return for their fourth seasons after being among Miller's first hires. Drew Adams is back for his third season, and this summer the program announced veteran coach Tim Buckley and former UC grad assistant (2021-23) Jaylen Stowe for the other main bench roles. Stowe's holds the Director of Player Development title as well.
Those two replaced Josh Loeffler and Jake Thelen, who took head coach jobs at Loyola Maryland and Covington Catholic HS, Thelen's alma mater, respectively.
The support staff has seen some moving and shaking as well. Bill Comar was announced recently as the Chief of Staff. Former grad assistants Omari Prince and Malik Massey were elevated into full-time roles, with Prince as the video coordinator and Massey working with Stowe as the player development associate.
Ashley Hecimovich has been named the Executive to the Head Coach. She was previously with the Cincinnati football program as its Director of On-Campus Recruiting. She arrived in Feb. 2022 to work under Luke Fickell. Hecimovich, who earned the One Team Employee award in Spring 2023 among the entire athletics department, previously worked in football recruiting at Western Michigan and Wake Forest.
Drew Blair and Ken-Jah Bosley are also first-year grad assistants. Blair averaged 19.4 ppg over his Minnesota-Duluth career, and Bosley just finished a pro career and assistant coaching stint at the University of the Cumberlands. One of his playing years at Kentucky Wesleyan came under Morgan.
