// BEARCATS DRAW CARDINALS
Cincinnati battled to a draw, 1-1, with Louisville on Thursday evening inside Gettler Stadium. Felton continued to be a force for the Bearcats in the second half, netting the equalizer in the 65th minute.

After Flower's shot was blocked, Felton buried the goal off her right foot to the back left corner. This marks her second consecutive match with a goal and third overall of her freshman campaign.

In total, the Bearcats had two corner kicks and held the advantage in shots (5-3) in the first 45 minutes of play.

After the break, Louisville broke away with a goal by junior Karsyn Cherry in the 52nd minute.

// FELTON'S FEELIN' IT
Freshman Rylee Felton is off to a stellar start of her debut season. Felton has scored in three of the last four games for the Bearcats, including the game winning goal in the season opener vs. Murray State. She leads the team in goals with three.

// SPREADING THE WEALTH
Cincinnati has seen several players contribute to the scoresheet in the early stages of this season. So far, five different players have scored, compared to just eight throughout the entirety of last season.

Fifth-year player Ellie Flower brings back her leadership in the offense, having returned as a top scorer and already notched one goal this season.

// SCOUTING THE EAGLES
The Eastern Michigan University soccer team improved to 4-0 for the first time since 1999 as senior Maddie O'Farrell's 17th-minute goal lifted the Eagles past Purdue Fort Wayne, 1-0, Thursday, Aug. 29, at Scicluna Field.

Sunday's matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs.

Eastern moved to 4-0-0 on the year while PFW moved to 2-2-1.

Eastern has three-straight clean sheets at Scicluna Field, which marks the first time since 2008-09 and the Eagles' first time with back-to-back shutouts since 2017.

Head Coach Taylor Clarke is in his first season at the helm of the Eagles. Joining Clarke on staff are Associate Head Coach Matt Hinds and Assistant Coach Mary Carlson.
Clarke, the third head coach in program history, replaced Scott Hall, who retired at the end of the 2023 season.
