CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's soccer program cruised past Eastern Michigan, 3-1, on Sunday afternoon.

The Bearcats move to 3-1-1 after giving the Eagles their first loss of the season. Cincinnati matched a season-high three goals and freshman Rylee Felton complemented the win with a career-high two goals and one assist.

Fifth-year Ellie Flower found her groove early, scoring the first goal of the day in the 16th minute and matching her game-high. Quickly after, junior Megan Smith found access and secured another goal for Cincinnati.

In the first half, Cincinnati allowed Eastern Michigan to just one shot, while the Bearcats managed to get off 11.

Eastern Michigan managed a last-effort goal from Cameryn Susey in the 85th minute but could not overcome the deficit.

Cincinnati remains at home as they host Butler on Thursday at 7 p.m. before heading to Xavier for the final non-conference matchup of the season.
