CINCINNATI -- The Cincinnati men's golf program will kick off its season this weekend in a big way, as the team takes part in the three-day Visit Knoxville Intercollegiate and four other individuals will play EKU's Colonel Shootout.

The squad's lineup at the Tennessee National Golf Club in Loudon, Tenn., features Ryan Ford, Connor McNeely, Leo Wessel, Rylan Wotherspoon, Cole Imig and Belmont transfer Michael Senn III as an individual. Live scoring is available here, with the action beginning Friday.

Wessel is the first freshman to qualify for an opener since Wotherspoon in 2022. Last year's team finished eighth at the Tennessee event, improving its score each day in the loaded field. Wotherspoon led the way with a 2-under 208 to tie for 12th.

McNeely was the team's top performer last season with a 72.10 stroke average. Ford followed at 72.23, finishing strong with a 15th-place finish at the Big 12 Championship. McNeely opened the season with three top-11 finishes in his first four events.

This field features Ole Miss, LSU, East Tennessee State, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, College of Charleston, Mississippi State, Indiana, South Florida, North Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, Charlotte, Penn State and Georgia Tech, along with host Tennessee.

EKU (Saturday-Sunday)
