CINCINNATI – William McDonald is in fourth place at the EKU Colonel Shootout while four strokes off the lead after two rounds, and Ryan Ford has maintained a tie for 21st at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate through Saturday's action.
The rare occasion of all 10 Bearcats in competition also included Michael Senn III posting a 2-under 68, UC's best round of the day in Tennessee. Ford posted five birdies over a seven-hole stretch, similar to his midday boost on Friday.
William McDonald's seven birdies in Kentucky put him in strong position, especially with the six-stroke improvement from his second round.
All five of Cincinnati's golfers at the Colonel Shootout (86 competitors in all) are in the top-17.
The Bearcats will seek a strong finish Sunday, which comes after it saved its best round for last at the 2023 edition of the Visit Knoxville Collegiate (292-287-279).
