CINCINNATI -- Ryan Ford continued his consistency to finish with an even-score and 21st overall at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate, where the Bearcats were 11th out of 16 teams, highlighting a full roster effort across East Tennessee and Eastern Kentucky this weekend.

"Today was a big improvement on yesterday," head coach Doug Martin said. "I loved our fight today, a very solid round from start to finish. We played with great freedom today. When we play with this type of mindset, we have a chance to be a very good team."

Ford also finished even and tied for 15th in his last outing, the Big 12 Championships. This time in Tennessee, he tied with Michael Senn III, who was competing as an individual, for the top marks among the Red and Black.

Connor McNeely had just one bogey to produce a 3-under 67, which was UC's lowest round of the weekend and marked a nine-stroke improvement from Saturday.

On the EKU front, William McDonald and McKean Collins tied for 12th to lead the four-strong Bearcat group.

Cincinnati now returns home for its annual Bearcat Invitational at Coldstream Country Club. There is open admission for the two-day event that begins Monday, Sept. 16.
