CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team welcomes No.19/25 Texas Tech for its final home match of the season on Sunday for Senior/Alumni Day.

// SERIES HISTORY
This will be the third overall meeting between the two programs with both previous match ups occurring last season, one in the regular and one in the second round of the 2023 Big 12 Conference Tournament. 

Texas Tech leads the series 2-0. 

// SENIOR DAY SPECIAL
Cincinnati will honor seven seniors on Sunday: Payton Hasse, Laura Zemberyova, Brooke Brown, Fran Stables, Iris Schuh, Emma Schmelzer and Paige Miller as well as the five graduate student-athletes (Anna Rexford, Ellie Flower, Lauren Bastian, Vyviene Spaulding).

Against Houston, Cincinnati boasted four different goal-scorers for the first time this season, while also surpassing their previous total team goals of 17 from last season.

A total of nine different players have recorded at least one goal this season with freshman Rylee Felton (6) and fifth year Ellie Flower (5) leading the way. 

The Bearcats' four goal performance marked the most in a single game since the 2022 season.

// A SPECIAL GOAL ON A SPECIAL DAY
Junior Coley Sidloski secured Cincinnati's victory over Kansas State by scoring her lone goal in the honorary "We Play For 3" game, named after her sister, and former Bearcat, Ally. 

// GOALKEEPIN' IT REAL
Fifth-year goalkeeper Anna Rexford has been instrumental in the last 16 matches, playing every minute. 

Thursday's match marked Rexford's 80th consecutive start as a Bearcat. She currently is ranked eighth in the nation for minutes played by a goalie (7,232.33) in their career. 

With the 0-0 draw against Colorado, Rexford earned her 18th career shutout, second of the season, and moved into the fourth spot in program history. 

Against the Cyclones, Rexford earned her first career penalty kick save.

She recorded a career-high eight saves vs. Butler.

Against Colorado, Rexford finished with seven total saves. This marked the 22nd game of her career with five or more saves. 

She has 48 saves on the year and 253 in her career, the fifth-most in program history.

// LAST TIME OUT
Cincinnati battled to a draw, 0-0, with Colorado on Thursday inside Gettler Stadium.  

The Bearcats secured their third shutout of the season, with two occurring in Big 12 play. Meanwhile, the Buffaloes faced their second consecutive scoreless outing.

Cincinnati was led by fifth year goalkeeper Anna Rexford who made her 80th consecutive career start and recorded her 18th career shutout. She tallied seven saves and faced a season-high 18 shots.

In the first half, both teams maintained balanced possession, with Cincinnati taking four shots compared to Colorado's six. After halftime, the Buffaloes intensified their offensive efforts, firing off 12 shots, but Rexford remained steady, preserving the clean sheet.

Fifth year Lauren Bastian was able to record three shots alongside fifth year Ellie Flower and junior Megan Smith each contributed two.
