TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team announced the addition of signee Tara Kurepa on Friday.
"I am very excited for Tara to be joining us next fall," head coach Eric Toth said. "She has performed well on the national junior circuit, and I feel her best tennis is ahead of her. Tara has the right work ethic and mindset to be a very good division I tennis player, competing in a top tennis conference."
Kurepa is a five-star from Jericho, N.Y., who is rated as the No. 7 player in New York and 83rd nationally by TennisRecruiting.net. Kurepa trains out of the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and has achieved immense success at the national USTA junior circuit.
She is a multi-time champion throughout all levels and age groups of the USTA junior circuit.
In singles, Kurepa is a USTA Level 4 G18s 2x champion and a Level 4 G16s champion.
In doubles, the Jericho, N.Y. native is a USTA Level 3 G18s 2x champion, Level 3 G16s champion and a Level 2 G16s champion.
Kurepa was also rewarded with the Level 1 Clay Court Championships G16s 2023 Sportsmanship Award.
