CINCINNATI, Ohio – Redshirt senior offensive lineman Luke Kandra was named a Second-Team All-American by Sports Illustrated on Friday.
Kandra, who received honorable mention All-America distinctions from College Football Network earlier this week, was the Big 12's highest-rated right guard by Pro Football Focus for the second straight season. The Cincinnati native and Elder High School graduate led a Bearcats offense that ranked sixth in the league in total offense (420.6) and paved the way for running back Corey Kiner to rush for a second consecutive 1,000-yard season.
Kandra was an All-American in 2023 as well, receiving recognitions from Walter Camp and the Associated Press.
