CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati men's golf team has headed to North Carolina for its third tournament of the season, this time at the Rod Myers Invitational at the Duke University Golf Club.
This is a 11-team field featuring the host Blue Devils, N.C. State, Princeton, Charlotte, Liberty, Florida Gulf Coast, UNC Greensboro, UNC Wilmington, High Point and Virginia Tech. Live scoring is available on Golfstat.
Ryan Ford, Cole Imig, Michael Senn III, Rylan Wotherspoon and Connor McNeely comprise the Bearcats' lineup.
Ford earned his first-career tournament win at the Bearcat Invitational on Tuesday, carding a 6-under 207 that began with a 65. He had four top-three finishes in the first two years of his career as well. He boasts a 69.50 stroke average in the early going.
Michael Senn III has been the epitome of consistency as well, tying for 21st and 17th over his first two events since transferring from Belmont. His 70 in the Tuesday finale was UC's lowest for the day and helped it rally from third to second place in the 18-team field.
Imig's tie for 10th was his career-best finish at UC. He played in eight rounds last year, which included two full events before subbing in the second and third days of the Big 12 Championship.
