CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving teams finished their weekend of competition on Saturday afternoon, competing inside LSU Natatorium.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati swimming and diving teams finished their weekend of competition on Saturday afternoon, competing inside LSU Natatorium.

LSU, the meet host, took home both the men's and women's titles while Cincinnati finished second with 110 (men's) and 101.5 (women's). Full team scores can be found here.

The Cincinnati relay team of Hunter Gubeno, Corban McIntosh, Levi Hansen and Owen Chiles grabbed second place in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:32.14. On the women's side, the team of Kaylee Nagel, Julie Rose, Lindi Worrrell and Sonja Aarsvold claimed the victory in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:30.57.

Graduate student Max Murray delivered an impressive performance, claiming second place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:18.33. He also earned third place in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing in 4:31.40. In the 100-yard breaststroke, junior Joleigh Crye recorded a time of 1:02.84, earning her the first-place win. She went on to finish second in the 100-yard butterfly (55.70).

The Bearcats dominated the men's 400-yard individual medley, sweeping the top three positions. Kyle Bumgardner led the pack with a winning time of 3:55.89, followed closely by Adam McCurdy (4:06.72) and Maksim Maskalenka (4:06.82). The women went on to do the same with Libby Michel taking home first (4:23.48) and Maddie Reed (4:37.02) and Annabelle Young (4:37.62) finishing second and third, respectively. 
 
Cincinnati will wrap up the regular season by heading to face Louisville on Saturday, Feb. 1. Events will begin at 12 p.m.
