CINCINNATI – Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia, Anastasija Arsić has become a standout junior tennis player. Arsić has had remarkable success in junior competitions, where she claimed the No. 1 spot on the Serbian Junior National Rankings in the U14, U16, and U18 categories.
"Our program is excited to add Anastasija to Bearcat tennis next fall," head coach Eric Toth said. "Anastasija has had quite an impressive run of results and has been among the top players in Serbia during her entire junior career. Anastasija is a needed addition to our program as we continue to add quality tennis players to help us continue to move up the ranks in the Big 12 Conference."
In 2020, Arsić represented Serbia on the National U16 Team, showcasing her talent on an international level. She later climbed to the top of the Serbian National Senior Rankings for the 2023-24 season, solidifying her position as one of the country's best.
Her success extends beyond national borders. On the international stage, Arsić was the singles finalist at the ITF J5 Mostar tournament and won the doubles title at the ITF J5 ULCINJ event.
