CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams are back in action this weekend as they travel to Lincoln, Neb., for the Husker Invitational.

The action kicks off Friday at 11:30 a.m. with combined events, followed by field events at 3 p.m. and running events at 4:30 p.m. Saturday's schedule includes the heptathlon at 10 a.m., running events at 11 a.m., and field events at 12 p.m.
The Bearcats will travel 36 athletes to the meet, 18 men and 18 women.

Junior Kya Epps took home her third consecutive victory in the 60m dash with a time of 7.27. The Akron, Ohio native has won every 60m race she's competed in this season. In the semis, Epps set a new program record with a blistering time of 7.25 seconds.
Graduate student Naquille Harris claimed sixth place, clocking in at 6.68 seconds in the 60m

Cincinnati earned three event wins and set four all-time top 10 marks for UC during the two-day Crossroads of America meet in Indianapolis last weekend.
Graduate students Fred Moudani-Likibi (Shot Put), Harris (60m), and Epps (60m) each claimed victories in their respective events.
While graduate students Amanda Ngandu Ntumba (Shot Put), Hannah Blood (Weight Throw), senior Nadia Collins (Long Jump), and Epps (200m) etched their names in the record book.
