CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team cruised past Wofford, 18-4, on a sunny afternoon inside Nippert Stadium.

Cincinnati controlled the pace early on, outscoring Wofford 6-0 in the first quarter. Junior Camryn Callaghan led the charge with a five-goal performance, while graduate student Lauren Ottensmeyer added four of her own.

The Bearcat's offense was firing on all cylinders, with nine different players contributing to the scoring. Freshman Paige Selhorn orchestrated the attack with an impressive five assists, while freshman Alyse Keels chipped in three. Freshman Amanda Sweeney notched her first collegiate goal in the fourth quarter, securing the demanding victory for UC.

Cincinnati's aggressive defense forced 24 turnovers, while goalkeepers Hailey Darko and Bella Kerr combined for five saves. The Terrier's four goals marked the third time this season that the Bearcats have held their opponent to less than five goals. It also marked the lowest goals scored by Wofford all season.

UC improves to 6-4 before heading on the road for two-straight to close out non-conference play with Mount St. Mary's and Georgetown.
