MARICOPA, ARIZ. Michael Senn III tied for 14th to lead the way for the Cincinnati men's golf team, which finished 10th at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic on Tuesday.

Play was paused with a few holes remaining on Monday before resuming at 7:30 a.m. PT the next morning. The field featured four top-50 teams, with No. 27 Long Beach State claiming the title at 37-under by 14 strokes.

The Bearcats also jumped three spots on the final day.

"Another poor start on Day 1 put us in a very big hole," head coach Doug Martin said. "We must play cleaner golf to start events. I thought we started on excellent holes with great opportunities we just didn't capitalize. We have three very important events remaining this spring before post season. We need to find our stride over this stretch."

Senn has finished in the top-15 in two of his last three tournaments, including finishing 4-under in this one.

Ryan Ford shook off a rough start and finished true to form by cutting four strokes off round, culminating in a 2-under 70 to close.

There is no rest for the Bearcats after this continuous West Coast stay, next playing at Missouri's Tiger Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
