Ford Pacing Bearcats Through First Day in Missouri

COLUMBIA, Mo. — Ryan Ford was true to self in the first round with a 1-under 69, including three-straight birdies on Nos. 16-18, to lead the Bearcats through its marathon opening day at the Tiger Invitational.

Ford is also 1-over through the front nine and in second overall. A weather delay through 10 a.m. CT was to blame for the incompletion, which is expected to resume by 9 a.m. CT on Tuesday.

William McDonald is 14th at this time, rallying from a 5-over in the first round.

Leo Wessel and Connor McNeely are both 7-over at this time. Michael Senn III, the Bearcats' top finisher at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, is the fifth performer.

Harry Satterlee, competing individually for his third tournament of the year, is currently No. 41 and UC's second-best performer on the scorecard.
