Moudani-Likibi and Rieckmann earn All-America Honors at NCAA Outdoor Championships

University of Cincinnati track and field graduate students Fred Moudani-Likibi (Shot Put) and senior Ryan Rieckmann (Javelin) earned All-America honors on Wednesday, day one of the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.

EUGENE, Ore. — University of Cincinnati track and field graduate students Fred Moudani-Likibi (Shot Put) and senior Ryan Rieckmann (Javelin) earned All-America honors on Wednesday, day one of the 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
 
Rieckmann is the 43rd UC track and field athlete to earn All-American honors in program history.  Moudani-Likibi earned his fourth All-America honor at UC. Cincinnati has now garnered 84 All-America honors since 1964, with 44 of these achievements occurring at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
 
// FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN
Moudani-Likibi excelled at the national championships, securing eighth place with a throw of 19.44m.
 
The Savigny-Le-Temple, France, native joins an elite group as the fifth Bearcat to earn at least four First Team All-America honors alongside program legends – Adrian Valles, Al Lanier, Annette Echikunwoke, and Loretta Blaut.

  • Fred Moudani–Likibi: Four-time Fiirst Team All-American (Indoor: 2023, 2025 | Outdoor: 2023, 2025)
// SECOND TEAM ALL AMERICAN
Rieckmann became the first Cincinnati javelin thrower in program history to earn All-American honors, placing 13th overall in the competition. The Cheney, Wash., native concluded an impressive 2025 campaign, where he claimed the UC javelin school record with a throw of 71.02m at the Texas Relays.
 
// WRAPPING UP THE SEASON STRONG
Orry Willems wrapped up his impressive 2025 season, recording a 64.81m throw to earn a 20th-place finish in the hammer throw. The Balen, Belgium, native is the first men's hammer thrower in UC history to qualify for nationals in the event. Willems put together a great season in his first campaign as a Bearcat. At the NCAA East First Round, he set the program record in the hammer throw with a toss of 65.58m, while also picking up two event victories throughout the season.
