CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team heads to Bowling Green for a 1 p.m. match on Sunday at Cochrane Stadium in Bowling Green, Ohio.
The Bearcats will then travel to face Pittsburgh on Thursday, September 4 at Ambrose Urbanic Field.

Cincinnati has faced Bowling Green six times in its history, with the Bearcats holding a 4-1-1 edge.
The two teams last saw each other in 2023 at Gettler Stadium, resulting in a 1-0 win for the Bearcats.
The series started in 2002.

The Bearcats controlled both ends of the pitch, out shooting Central Michigan 21-9 and holding them to just two first-half attempts in a 2-0 shutout.
Senior Faith Broering claimed the Bearcats’ first goal at the 65-minute mark with the assist from sophomore Jada Arthurs. The veteran defender already has two goals this season - the first goals of her career.
20 minutes later, Arthurs fired off her own goal at the 82-minute mark with assist from senior Coley Sidloski. It was the first goal of the season for Arthurs, and the second of her career.
Sidloski (four) and Arthurs (three) both recorded a season high in shots.
// RETURNING STRENGTH
Cincinnati brings back eight starters from last season, including Emma Gioffre, Faith Broering, and Megan Smith, each of whom started all 19 matches. Twelve of UC’s 17 returners appeared in double-digit games for the Red & Black.
While the Bearcats will miss five-year starting goalkeeper Anna Rexford, they return their entire defensive line, featuring Broering, Oubs, Swingle, and Daveler.

The Bearcats welcome four transfers and eight freshmen to the 2025 roster. Cincinnati's freshman class includes Lexi O'Shea, Christa Gibbons, Ava "AJ" Hendrick, Kailey Shannon, Lily DiBernardo, Dru Dorsey and twins Kayla and Bryana Gaynor.
Transfers Camryn Miller (Virginia), Molly Cochran (Louisville), Karson Yon (Minnesota) and Joy Kimwemwe (USF) also join the Bearcats.
