CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team travels to Pittsburgh for a 7 p.m. match on Thursday at Ambrose Urbanic Field in Pittsburgh, Pa.

The Bearcats will then come back home to face Northern Kentucky on Sunday, September 7 at Gettler Stadium.

Cincinnati's match versus Pittsburgh will be broadcast nationally on ACCNX.

// SERIES HISTORY

Cincinnati has faced Pittsburgh five times in its history, holding a even series to the Panthers with a 2-2-1 record. 

The two teams last saw each other in 2023 at Gettler Stadium, resulting in a 1-2 loss for the Bearcats.

The series started in 2007.

// LAST TIME OUT

The University of Cincinnati women's soccer team played to a 0-0 draw with Bowling Green on Sunday at Cochrane Stadium.

After halftime, the Bearcats’ defense held the Falcons to just one corner kick and no shots on goal. Cincinnati finished with a 12-6 edge in total shots and a 7-1 advantage in shots on goal.

Sidloski led the team in shots with three (two on goal) while Molly Cochran, Jada Arthurs and Claire Rea each contributed two. Graduate student Camryn Miller recorded her third shutout of the season.

Miller, Carly Oubs, Faith Broering and Christa Gibbons played the full 90.

// RETURNING STRENGTH

Cincinnati brings back eight starters from last season, including Emma Gioffre, Faith Broering, and Megan Smith, each of whom started all 19 matches. Twelve of UC’s 17 returners appeared in double-digit games for the Red & Black.

While the Bearcats will miss five-year starting goalkeeper Anna Rexford, they return their entire defensive line, featuring Broering, Oubs, Swingle, and Daveler.

// NEW CATS ON THE BLOCK

The Bearcats welcome four transfers and eight freshmen to the 2025 roster. Cincinnati's freshman class includes Lexi O'Shea, Christa Gibbons, Ava "AJ" Hendrick, Kailey Shannon, Lily DiBernardo, Dru Dorsey and twins Kayla and Bryana Gaynor.

Transfers Camryn Miller (Virginia), Molly Cochran (Louisville), Karson Yon (Minnesota) and Joy Kimwemwe (USF) also join the Bearcats.

Sophomore Rylee Felton is two goals away from reaching 10 in her career.
