CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women’s soccer team defeated Iowa State 3-0 on Sunday at Gettler Stadium on Senior Day.

The Bearcats improve to 5-7-6 on their season while the Cyclones move to 4-9-3.

Senior Coley Sidloski opened up the scoring with a pass from senior Megan Smith from midfield at the 15-minute mark. It marked Smith's first assist of the season.

Four minutes later, sophomore Rylee Felton found the back of the net off a pass from Sidloski in the box, marking her 10th career goal and pushing the lead to 2-0.

Sidloski wasn’t done yet, as she found the back of the net again in the 35th minute for her second of the match and fourth of the season.

Cincinnati headed into the break with a 3-0 lead and limited Iowa State to just six shots.

After the break, the Bearcats continued to dominate possession and secure the win.

Sidloksi notched the first multi-goal game of her career behind a career-high five points. Goalkeeper Camryn Miller tallied five saves for her eighth shutout of the season.

Cincinnati honored seven seniors in a postgame ceremony including Miller, Smith, Sidloski, Faith Broering, Claire Rea, Jenna Daveler and Maddie Swingle as well as two graduate students Laura Zemberyova and Ellie Flower.

Up next, the Bearcats will travel to West Virginia on Thursday, October 30 to wrap up regular season play.
