LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Juliette Laracuente-Huebner, the Big 12's defending indoor pentathlon champion, picked up where she left off by claiming the school record with a 4,287-point showing, including her own long jump mark, on Friday at the PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational.

The junior finished the job by winning the long jump (6.28) and 800-meter (2:18.4) back-to-back, the former breaking her own school record of 6.22 set this season, which also came in the same facility three weeks prior.

Nickson Kogei, the cross country All-American in his first season at UC, took assistant coach Jed Helker's place at No. 6 in the record books with an 8:03.75 clip in the 3,000-meter. It was Kogei's track debut as well.

In all, five Bearcats moved in the top-10 of their respective categories, including Tosin Ayodeji's first appearance for his 7.37m long jump mark.
