2024 XC: Competed in three meets… Placed 28th in the 4k at the Sam Bell Invitational with a time of 15:19.4.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Scott High School, running cross country and track… First team all-state state six years, NKAC runner of the year, dream mile qualifier and KyMilesplit scholarship… Second place team finish at state and first place in regionals her freshman year… Individual regional champion and individual state champion in her junior year… 1600m school record holder, XC 5k school record holder (18:11), track 3200m school record (10:50) and 5k track school record holder… Regional champion and fifth place at AAA state meet in her senior year.
PERSONAL: A native of Independence, Ky., born on Jan. 14, 2006… Daughter of Christian and Mindy Strong…Has two sisters… Also ran for Run Thomson Training … Was a part of NHS, student council and student leadership… Plans to major in Nutrition and dietetics.
