There was nearly as much time recovery needed after checking the record books as the Cincinnati track and field team required following its incredible Saturday on the heels of its fantastic Friday.
All in all, the Bearcats will finish the weekend with 20 additions to the school record books, highlighted by Prince Mcabelo's 800-meter that took the top spot in program history.
Nine PRs were obtained as well in Camden Beatty (800), Christina Allen (800), Jayda Holbrook (400), Sydney Foglesong (shot put), Lucas Towne and Seth Elking (3,000m), Tierra Cullivan (pole vault), John Apel (400-meter) and Abby Sewell (3,000m).
Of the many standouts, Sewell was the only one with two over the weekend between her mile on Friday and 3,000-mark Saturday. Apel and Cullivan joined her as freshmen earning the distinction.
Komolafe also excelled by competing on the 4x400 relay team that finished third after her own solo venture, 400-meter mark that was third on Friday. Four of the seven fastest relay marks on the women's side in program history have come this season.
