CINCINNATI – Allstate and NACDA HAVE announced the 2025-26 Allstate NACDA Good Works Team (Winter), a group of 20 student-athletes whose service strengthened their campuses and communities. Cincinnati junior track and field thrower Oliver Mayer was included.

The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team was created to spotlight and reward student-athletes for their outstanding community service. Honorees include men and women from all NCAA divisions, with student-athletes recognized each season across winter, spring and fall sports.

Mayer is steadily building an impressive résumé highlighted by top-10 performances in program history in the indoor weight throw and outdoor discus. Beyond athletics, he is deeply committed to service, volunteering with the Aruna Project to support survivors of human trafficking and assisting with community outreach efforts at Our Daily Bread. His work includes helping run awareness events, supporting fundraising initiatives, and preparing meals for individuals experiencing food insecurity.

Oliver also serves as the SAAC representative for men’s track and field, where he advocates for student-athlete well being and helps coordinate campus wide service projects. His blend of athletic growth, leadership, and meaningful community engagement reflects a student athlete dedicated to making a lasting impact both on-and-off-the-field meetings and Bible study groups to help students grow in faith and adjust to college life.
