TicketsST. SIMONS ISLAND, Ga. – The Cincinnati men’s golf team tied for seventh after a final-round 287 team score Tuesday at the Plantation Course at Sea Island Resort.
Senior Ryan Ford carded a final-round 2-under-par 70 to finish 17th at 8-under, while sophomore Leo Wessel finished at even-par Tuesday, a stroke back for the tournament in 21st place. Freshman Brayden Miller tied for 27th at 6-under for the tournament after an even-par 72 in the final round.
Seniors Rylan Wotherspoon and Connor McNeely tied for 67th at 4-over for the tournament after going 1-over and 2-over, respectively, in their final round.
For the event, the Bearcats tied for second with 176 pars and third in par-5 scoring at 28-under. Individually, Miller paced the field with 41 pars.
The Bearcats are back in action March 23-24 at the Oregon Duck Invitational in Eugene.
