// REWRITING NCAA HISTORY & BEARCAT HISTORY
Sophomore Morgan Handzel delivered a historic performance in the draw circle, tying the NCAA single-game record with 24 draw controls in a win over Eastern Michigan.
The mark shattered her previous program record of 16, set just two days earlier against Kent State.
Her 24-draw performance pushed her season total to 115, breaking the single-season program record with multiple games still remaining — positioning her to further extend the mark.
// DOMINATING THE DRAW
Led Handzel, Cincinnati has established itself as one of the nation’s top draw units.
Handzel has totaled 121 draw controls this season — 11.0 per game — ranking fifth nationally. Her 24 draws against Eastern Michigan are tied for the most in NCAA history, while her 16 against Kent State previously set the program record.
As a team, the Bearcats are averaging 15.9 draw controls per game — 15th nationally and second in the Big 12 — while posting a .648 draw percentage that ranks fifth in the country and leads the conference
// QB ONE
Sophomore Paige Selhorn turned in a historic performance with a school-record seven assists and three goals for 10 points in a win over Central Michigan.
Selhorn has emerged as one of the nation’s top offensive threats, leading the country in total points (67) while ranking seventh in assists (31) and goals (36).
Within the Big 12, she ranks first in points per game (6.1), second in assists per game (2.8) and fourth in goals per game (3.3).
In just her second season, Selhorn has already totaled 132 career points — fifth most in program history.
// DOMINATING THE OFFENSE
Selhorn continues to power one of the nation’s most productive offenses.
She earned Big 12 Attacker of the Week honors after totaling 13 points across two games, highlighted by an eight-point performance (four goals, four assists) in a win at Wofford.
She followed with a five-point outing against Ohio State and later set the program’s single-game assist record (7) against Central Michigan.
Selhorn currently ranks among the national leaders in points, assists and goals while pacing the Big 12 in assists per game and ranking near the top in both scoring categories.
