COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS — The University of Cincinnati’s track and field teams competed in the Texas A&M 44 Farms Invitational this weekend in College Station.
A program record from Juliette Laracuente-Huebner in the heptathlon kicked off the competition for the Bearcats, with the final portions of the event wrapping up on Friday.
Laracuente-Huebner, a junior, scored 5920 in the event to soar past her previous record and secure a first place finish individually.
On the men’s side of multi events, Miller Mabury set a new freshman record in the decathlon event after achieving a combined score of 7045 points.
On the track, senior Gwen Stare made her mark in the women’s, posting a time of 2:08.77 — the fifth-fastest time in UC history and a third-place finish.
Rounding out the meet, redshirt junior Macaria Moore cleared 1.78m in the high jump to secure a second place finish in the event.

The Bearcats are set to begin the weekend at the Wake Forest Invite on Thursday, April 16th in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Additionally, another group will be traveling to the Tom Jones Memorial hosted by the University of Florida on Friday, April 17.
