LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Led by a trio of individual victories from Kya Epps, Annika Kinley, and Macaela Walker, the University of Cincinnati track and field teams put an exclamation point on the final day of the Clark Wood Invitational on Saturday night at Owsley B. Frazier Cardinal Park.
The Bearcats’ dominance was headlined by standout performances in the sprints and jumps. Epps paced the field in the 100m dash, clocking a time of 11.46 to take home the top spot. On the infield, Kinley soared to a 1.78m mark in the high jump to secure her first-place finish, while Walker rounded out the victorious efforts by sprinting to a blistering 13.21 victory in the 100m hurdles.
Cincinnati’s depth was on full display as teammates followed closely behind the leaders to secure additional podium spots. Juliette Laracuente-Huebner finished just behind Walker in the 100m hurdles, taking third with a time of 13.33. In the 100m dash, Davane Fagan crossed the line in 11.58 to earn third place, while Macaria Moore-Bastide cleared 1.75m in the high jump to also finish third.
The women’s relay teams kept the momentum rolling, highlighted by a season-best performance in the 4x100m. The quartet of Epps, Walker, Fagan, and Lina Anstad notched a runner-up finish with a time of 45.01. Later, the 4x400m squad of Fagan, Walker, Peyton Cherry, and Jayda Holbrook combined for a 3:41.03 to take third place.
On the men’s side, the 110m hurdles provided a pair of milestones for the Bearcats. Romaro Knight secured a fifth-place finish with a career-best time of 14.37, while Miller Mabury also recorded a personal best, crossing the finish line in 14.83.

The Bearcats remain in the Bluegrass State next week as they travel to Lexington for the Jim Green Invitational. The two-day meet, hosted by the University of Kentucky, is set for Friday, May 1, through Saturday, May 2, at the UK Track & Field Complex
