HUTCHINSON, Kan. – Senior Ryan Ford recorded his 11th top-20 finish in as many events this season with a tie for 14th at the Big 12 Championship presented by Allstate Wednesday at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kan. The Bearcats, who finished the tournament in 13th place, will await their postseason fate, which will be announced at 2 p.m. May 6 live on Golf Channel.
Ford struggled to get anything going Wednesday, posting a 5-over-par 75, but it was still good enough to keep his streak of top-20 finishes alive. Freshman Brayden Miller put together another quality round, carding 16 pars, along with a birdie and a bogey, for an even-par 70. After getting off to a difficult start to the week, the Goshen, Ind., native played his last 32 holes in 3-under-par.
Sophomore Connor Cassano and senior Connor McNeely each notched a 5-over 75 Wednesday to tie for 59th and 63rd, respectively, while sophomore Leo Wessel went 6-over in the final round to tie McNeely for 63rd.
