CINCINNATI – The Cincinnati athletics department announced on Tuesday the official themes for all six home games for the upcoming 2026 football season.
Cincinnati’s slate is highlighted by an Oct. 24 matchup vs. Texas Tech during the University’s 100th Homecoming celebration. That game will also serve as a celebration of the 50th James P. Kelly Athletics Hall of Fame class, which will be inducted the night before.
UC opens the year at home vs. Boston College on Sept. 5 at 3:30 p.m on FOX, and follows that up with a “Nippert at Night” contest on Sept. 12 vs. Western Carolina. Cincinnati’s Big 12 home opener is set for Sept. 26 vs. Kansas State, and conference foes Utah (Oct. 31) and Colorado (Nov. 21) come to Nippert Stadium as well.
