TicketsCINCINNATI – Cincinnati football is inviting fans to Pancake With Us on Saturday, Aug. 8, with a free pancake breakfast beginning at 9 a.m. on Sheakley Lawn before the Bearcats hold an open practice at Historic Nippert Stadium at 10 a.m.
The first 100 fans at Sheakley Lawn will receive custom syrup bottles.
The Pancake With Us event will feature concessions open on the East Side of the stadium in addition to family games and inflatables for kids on Sheakley Lawn.
The offensive line will help serve pancakes prior to practice beginning at 10 a.m.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet the full team afterward during an on-field autograph and photo session with Cincinnati players. Attendees can also enter to win special giveaway prizes during the breakfast portion.
The event continues Cincinnati Football's "Pancake With Us" campaign, celebrating one of the nation's premier offensive lines. Led by preseason All-America guard Evan Tengesdahl alongside All-Conference standouts Joe Cotton and Taran Tyo, the Bearcats return one of the country's most experienced and accomplished offensive line units entering the 2026 season.
Following the cancellation of the annual Spring Game in April, the Pancake Breakfast and Open Practice gives Bearcats fans a unique opportunity to be part of the program's unofficial season kickoff—meeting the team, enjoying a morning with the Bearcat family and getting an early look at one of the most anticipated Cincinnati squads in recent years.

DOES THE NATION’S BEST OFFENSIVE LINE RESIDE IN CINCINNATI?
The Bearcats return three starters from last season’s Joe Moore Award (nation’s best OL honor) semifinalist offensive line. Senior Evan Tengesdahl collected All-Big 12 First Team and Associated Press All-America accolades, while Fifth Years Taran Tyo and Joe Cotton also return following All-Big 12 campaigns. The Bearcats allowed the fewest sacks (8.0) and tackles for loss (43.0) of any Power Four team in 2025, while finishing third in the nation in yards per carry (5.7) and No. 8 in yards per play (6.9). Further showing confidence in the unit, offensive line coach Nic Cardwell was promoted to co-offensive coordinator in the offseason and the Bearcats needed to acquire zero offensive linemen in the transfer portal with cupboard stocked full of big bodies ready to step up and join the rotation alongside the leadership core of Tengesdahl, Tyo and Cotton.
