TicketsCINCINNATI – The Cincinnati women’s basketball team hosts Georgetown College in an exhibition game Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. inside Fifth Third Arena.
Admission is free, with parking available in Corry Garage for $5. The game will not be livestreamed.
Head coach Katrina Merriweather enters her fourth season at her alma mater and 11th overall as a bench boss. She owns a 191-122 career record and has led three programs to six postseason appearances.
The Bearcats return seven letterwinners from a season ago, led by All-Big 12 Freshman Team selection Caliyah DeVillasee. DeVillasee, Cincinnati's returning leading scorer and assister, became the program’s first freshman since 2006-07 to surpass 100 assists in a season. She posted six 20-point games and 23 double-figure scoring performances.
Cincinnati added eight newcomers to its 2026-27 roster, highlighted by transfer Sahnya Jah. The 6-foot guard/forward averaged career highs of 9.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game at SMU last season and was a former top-40 recruit out of high school.
The Bearcats open the 2026-27 season at home Nov. 4 against East Texas A&M, beginning a 13-game non-conference schedule that includes seven home games, the Cancun Challenge and the annual Crosstown Shootout at Xavier. Cincinnati opens Big 12 play Dec. 20 at reigning regular-season champion TCU as part of an 18-game conference schedule.
