2008 Season (Senior):

  • Selected to the All-BIG EAST third team.
  • A rock behind the plate for the second straight year, starting 54 of 59 games at catcher and catching 464 of a possible 519 innings.
  • Named to the BIG EAST Championship All-Tournament Team after scoring four runs, driving in two and allowing just one stolen base.
  • Enjoyed a career year with a .288 batting average, nine home runs and 32 RBI. All represented career-highs.
  • Picked up first two four-hit games of career, including a 4-for-4 day against Georgetown (4/19).
  • Hit pair of home runs for first time in career in win over Wright State (5/13).
  • Helped UC rank third in the BIG EAST in stolen bases allowed with 33.

2007 Season (Junior):

  • An ironman behind the plate, starting 49 of the team's 56 games at catcher.
  • Should steady improvement throughout the season, hitting .283 (17-for-60) in the last 15 games of the year after approaching and passing the 100 AB mark.
  • Tied for third on the team with 13 doubles, including a pair against Georgetown (4/1) and Rutgers (5/5).
  • Smashed first career homer as part of three-hit game vs. Connecticut (4/21). Also homered vs. Xavier three days later.
  • Had six multiple hit games, including a trio of three-hit outings.
  • Put together a season-best six-game hit streak in late April and early May, batting .381 (8-for-21) during the stretch.
  • Possesses good skills for a catcher, leading the team with five sacrifice hits and adding five stolen bases.

Junior College: Earned second team All-Mid Florida Conference honors as a sophomore at Daytona Beach Community College ... batted .286 in 2006 with 10 doubles, seven home runs and 38 RBI ... threw out 75 percent of runners attempting to steal ... played in 35 games as a freshman, hitting .286 ... helped team to consecutive conference championships.

High School: An all-state selection at Portland High ... helped team to a 17-1 record as a senior.
