- Holds the UC records for stolen bases in a career (104), season (60) and single game (6).
- Tied for seventh in school history with nine career triples.
2008 Season (Senior):
- Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 13th round (401st overall) of the MLB Draft.
- A first team All-BIG EAST choice.
- Led the BIG EAST with 44 stolen bases and seven triples and tied for fifth with 89 hits.
- Ranked second on team in multi-hit games with 29, including three four-hit contests.
- Stole multiple bases in a game nine times, including three games with a trio of thefts.
- Tied a school record with two triples in a single game vs. USF (3/21).
- Had a 10-game hitting streak in March that saw him bat .400.
- Terrorized crosstown rival Xavier on April 29, going 3-for-6 with three runs, a double and three stolen bases.
- Hit .328 in BIG EAST action with 19 stolen bases.
- Named BIG EAST Player of the Week on May 18 after hitting .600 during UC's sweep of West Virginia.
- Hit .267 in BIG EAST Championship, including first career grand slam against USF (5/21).
Summer 2007:
- Played for the Southern Ohio Copperheads of the Great Lakes League.
- Played in all-star game and was first team all-league selection after ranking first with 24 stolen bases; ranked among league leaders in hitting (9th, .349), runs (3rd, 27), hits (T-2nd, 44); added five doubles, two triples and 11 RBI.
- Named the 10th best prospect in the Great Lakes Summer League by Baseball America.
2007 Season (Junior):
- Ranked second in the BIG EAST nationally with 60 stolen bases, trailing only Louisville's Boomer Whiting in both.
- Showed good patience, ranking ninth in the BIG EAST and second on the team with 33 walks.
- Broke the UC single season steals record in just the team's 27th game when he nabbed his 36th bag of the year.
- Ranked second on the team with a .329 batting average, with five doubles, a triple and 18 RBI.
- Became first Bearcat in two seasons to lead off a game with a homer when he went deep at Georgetown (3/31).
- Listed second on the team in multi-hit games with 22, including a season-high four vs. Villanova (4/27).
- Matched a career-high with four RBI in a win over Marshall (4/9).
- Tied a career-high with an 18-game hit streak early in the season in which he batted .389 (28-for-72).
At UNC-Asheville: Hit .319 in 72 games during two seasons ... stole 13 bases as a freshman and nine more as a sophomore ... tied the school record with an 18-game hit streak in 2005 ... set a Big South Conference record with hits in all 24 conference games of the 2005 season ... posted a career-high five hits vs. Radford (3/23/05) ... hammered first career home run vs. Hartford (3/18/06).
High School: A three-sport all-conference performer at Springboro High ... hit .418 as a senior and .350 as a junior, while stealing a combined 35 bases ... was also an all-area choice in football.
