Summer 2008:
- Playing for the Edenton Steamers of the Coastal Plains League.
2008 Season (Redshirt Junior):
- Made 13 appearances out of the bullpen, spanning 9.1 innings.
- Earned first career save by striking out the side against Chicago State (3/2).
- Had two strikeouts in one inning against Marshall (3/5).
- Hurled season-long 1.2 innings during second game of Rutgers doubleheader (5/3).
2007 Season (Redshirt Sophomore):
- Led team with 19 appearances, all out of the bullpen.
- Tied for first among UC relievers with a 2.70 ERA.
- Struck out 22 in only 16.2 innings of work.
- Picked up first career victory at Dayton (4/3).
- Pitched a career-long 2.2 innings, striking out three against Louisville (5/17).
- Set career-high by striking out side in one inning vs. Chicago State (3/18).
- Made just one appearance in first 17 games of season.
- Represented UC at NCAA Leadership Conference in May.
2006 Season (Redshirt Freshman):
- Appeared in eight games, including six in final two weeks of regular season.
- Pitched two scoreless frames in each game of doubleheader against West Virginia (5/13).
- Worked 1.2 innings in collegiate debut against Rutgers (4/15).
2005 Season (Freshman):
- Redshirted.
High School: Named team's most valuable pitcher two straight years at Walsh Jesuit High ... tabbed team MVP of state championship squad as a senior ... twice named all-conference, including a first team accolade as a junior ... named to Akron Beacon Journal All-Area first team during junior season ... member of National Honor Society.
