Steubenville High School: Compiled a 41-1 record in three years as the starting signal caller for coach Reno Soccoccia ... Ohio's Division III Player of the Year in 2006 ... named to the EA Sports All-American Third Team after completing 68 percent (136-of-201) of his pass attempts for 2,550 yards and 30 TDs and only four interceptions ... also accrued 720 rushing yards, including 15 scores ... two-way player compiled three returns for touchdowns as a senior ... broke every Big Red passing record on his way to a 30-0 mark and back-to-back state titles over his final two years.
