Kyle Washington joined the basketball staff as a graduate manager in May 2021.

He returns to Cincinnati following a professional playing career that included stops at Yalova, the Windy City Bulls, Sioux Falls Skyforce, and most recently the Boca Juniors. Washington earned his UC degree in 2018 in interdisciplinary studies.
During his two seasons at Cincinnati, he helped the Bearcats record 30 or more wins in back-to-back seasons for the first time in program history. He also helped the 2017-18 Bearcats tie the school record for wins in a season with 31.
He scored 1,275 collegiate points (871 with Cincinnati [2017, 2018] and 404 points with NC State [2014, 2015]) and recorded 10 double-doubles at Cincinnati, tied with Octavius Ellis (2015-16) for third most during the Mick Cronin coaching era (since 2006-07).
Prior to Cincinnati, he started 18 of 34 games as a sophomore at NC State in 2014-15, averaging 6.8 points and 4.1 rebounds in 17.8 minutes. He reached double figures in scoring in nine games, including six matchups against teams that participated in the NCAA Tournament.
He started 25 of 36 games as a freshman for the Wolfpack during the 2013-14 campaign, averaging 4.2 points and 4.0 rebounds in 19.9 minutes.
