Malik Massey joined Cincinnati as a men's basketball grad assistant in Summer 2022 and was promoted to his current full-time Player Development Associate role in Summer 2024.
Massey reunited with head coach Wes Miller, whom he played for from 2016-20 at UNC Greensboro. He was a three-year team captain and led the Spartans to two SoCon regular-season titles, including becoming the all-time wins leader in UNCG history. Those squads made the 2017 NIT and 2018 NCAA Tournament, coming up four points short against No. 4-seed Gonzaga.
Massey graduated from West Charlotte HS in 2015 before playing a postgrad year at New Hampton Prep in New Hampshire, where Miller played as well.
