Kaylia Black Season 2018-19

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2018 graduate from Huron High School (Huron, Ohio)… two-time state placer in the shot put, finishing fifth as a junior and sixth as a senior… four-time conference and district champion in the shot put… broke the school record in the shot put all four years she competed… added the school discus record her senior year… twice earned All-Ohio honors in the shot put and was named her team’s MVP three times… also played four years on the volleyball team and added three seasons with the basketball squad… her relative, Calvin Randleman, competed in track & field and football at both Ashland University and UNLV, competing in the 4x400m relay, long jump and sprints while also playing cornerback.
