2022-23 SEASONS
2023 ITF: Competed in seven meets during the season and recorded four All-time top 10 marks… At the AAC Championships, she competed in three events: 200m, 400m, and the 4x400m relay… At the Doc Hale Meet she recorded a personal best of 7.64 in the 60m dash, the 10th fastest time in UC history… She also recorded the 10th fastest indoor 200m of all time with a mark of 24.39… At the Hoosier Open she recorded the eighth-fastest 300m in UC history with a time of 39.47.
2023 OTF: Competed in seven meets during the season and recorded three all-time top 10 marks … At the AAC Championships, she competed in three events: 200m, 400m, and 4x400m… She recorded a personal best 200m of 23.64, the eighth best time in program history… At the Billy Hayes Invitational, she ran the eighth fastest 400m in school history with a personal best time of 54.20… She ran a personal best 12.10 at the Penn Relays, the ninth fastest time in program history.
HIGH SCHOOL: A native of Miami, Florida, she attended Miami Northwestern Senior High... At the FHSSA Class 3A Track and Field State Championships she was part of the 4x100 team that won the event... She also recorded personal best in the 400 (54.35) and the 200 (24.07).
PERSONAL: Born Jayda Synai Bushay on April 4, 2003.. During her time at UC she plans to major in Sports Medicine.
