Prior to UC: A native of Heeze, Netherlands, She comes to UC after graduating from the University of Twente in Enschede. There she placed second at the Dutch Championships in the Cross Country Junior event. She placed second at the Dutch Championships on a road course 10k and placed third in the Dutch Championships 10k on a track. During her time at UC she plans to get her MBA.
