A standout defender from James Madison High School in Fairfax, Virginia, emerged as one of the top defensive players in the state under head coach Jean Counts... Began her high school career as a multi-sport athlete, competing in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse as a freshman while helping James Madison capture district and regional championships... Transitioned to a defensive midfield role as a sophomore, earning Second Team All-District honors and contributing to another district and region title... Broke out as a junior defender with First Team All-District, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-State recognition, along with Honorable Mention All-Metropolitan honors... Continued her success as a senior on defense, repeating as First Team All-District, All-Region, and All-State while leading James Madison to district and regional championships and a runner-up finish at the Virginia state championship... Played field hockey all four years of high school and served as co-president of the Morgan’s Message Club... Competed at the club level for Capital Lacrosse DC.

Daughter of Justin and Jean Counts... Her father played baseball at the University of Virginia, where he won a national championship, and now works as a football and baseball coach and sports travel agent... Her mother played field hockey and lacrosse at Longwood University before continuing her lacrosse career at George Mason, and now serves as a high school teacher and lacrosse coach... Has three brothers, Wiley, Casey, and Kellan, and two sisters, Cameron and Paige, who also plays lacrosse at Cincinnati... Plans to major in Sport Administration at the University of Cincinnati.
