TicketsAustin Hensley joined the tennis staff as an Assistant Coach in August of 2021.
Hensley comes to UC after spending one season as the assistant coach for Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. While coaching the Redbirds, he helped with recruiting, oversaw the budget and managed travel expenses, helped run drills, practice, agility, and weight workouts, maintained the facility, and assisted in raising money for Miami University/Indoor project.
He spent one season prior to Miami as the assistant tennis coach for the University of Pacific, where responsibilities included managing the tennis budget, recruiting and working with student athletes to prepare them for competitions.
He also served as an assistant men’s and women’s tennis coach from 2017-19 for UNC Asheville and as a Junior Program Director of Kenwood Country Club from 2015-17.
Hensley, who is from Milford, Ohio, graduated from Xavier University in 2018 with a Bachelors of Marketing.
Since 2017 Hensley has been the as the Director of Tennis for the Basin Harbor Resort, providing instruction for all levels of athletes.
