Here's a look at what's coming up this week in Cincinnati sports:
- The No. 25 men's basketball team will take on No. 9 Notre Dame at 7 p.m. Wednesday in South Bend, Ind. The game will be televised on ESPN2 and on the radio on 700 WLW. The Bearcats will then play St. John's at 4 p.m. Saturday at Carnesecca Arena in Queens, N.Y. This game will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio/BIG EAST Network, and also on the radio on 700 WLW. UC is 16-2 overall and tied for sixth in the BIG EAST at 3-2.
- The women's basketball team will take on No. 22 St. John's at noon Tuesday in Queens, N.Y. UC will then take on Louisville at 2 p.m. Saturday in Louisville, Ky. The Bearcats are 8-8 overall and tied for 10th in the BIG EAST at 1-3.
- The swimming and diving team will compete in the Kenyon Quad Meet at 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday in Gambier, Ohio. The Bearcats will compete against Ashland, Kenyon and Oakland in the meet.
- The women's tennis team will start the 2011 winter season against Purdue at noon Saturday in West Lafayette, Ind. Cincinnati will then take on Ohio State at 11 a.m. Sunday in Columbus, Ohio.

In case you missed it:
- The men's basketball team defeated USF, 74-66 last Wednesday at Fifth Third Arena. The Bearcats went on to play No. 4/4 Syracuse last Saturday in Syracuse, N.Y., but fell to the undefeated Orange, 67-52.
- The women's basketball team fell to Rutgers last Saturday, 55-44 at Fifth Third Arena.
- The swimming and diving team dropped a pair of dual meets to the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks last Friday at the Keating Aquatics Center. Laurie Caudy, Liz Hansson, Haywood Miller, and Nathan Williams each snagged a pair of event wins, but the men's team dropped a 165-113 decision while the women's squad fell 175.5-125.5 to the visitors. The Bearcats went on to compete with BIG EAST Conference rival Louisville last Saturday in Louisville Ky. The men dropped a 214-69 decision and the women fell by a 211-83 margin.
