BREAKDOWN
The Bearcats got out to an incredible start, beginning set one up 5-0 and eventually 10-4. Abby Walker, Maria Mallon and Shannon Williams shined early in this one. Milwaukee was able to get the lead down to one, but the Bearcats then went on a 6-0 run and eventually closed it out, winning set one 25-19. Set two didn't go as smoothly, with UC going down 1-10 right away. The set went back-and-forth and the Bearcats were able to get within two points late, but ultimately dropped the set, 21-25.

Things would not get much better for Cincinnati, unfortunately. Set three was tight the whole way through, but the Bearcats ended up dropping this set as well, 26-28. In set four, Milwaukee was able to finish the game. A pair of 4-0 runs for the Panthers separated the two teams early in the set, and Cincinnati was not able to climb out of the hole. Set four ended 25-18.
