Track and Field Travels to Tennessee Relays

The University of Cincinnati track and field teams travel to Knoxville, Tenn. to compete in the Tennessee Relays meet this weekend. The meet is hosted by the University of Tennessee and will run from Thurs. April 7 to Sat. April 9.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati track and field teams travel to Knoxville, Tenn. to compete in the Tennessee Relays meet this weekend. The meet is hosted by the University of Tennessee and will run from Thurs. April 7 to Sat. April 9. 
 
MEET SCHEDULE
The meet will span three days of competition. It starts on Thursday at 11 a.m. with the women's heptathlon and will wrap up Thursday night following the conclusion of the women's 10,000-meter run at 9:30 p.m.
 
The meet will start on Friday at 11 a.m. with the remaining events in the men's decathlon. A "power hour" will be conducted from 6-7:30 p.m. filled with sections of the top athletes in each event. Friday will wrap up at the end of the women's 5,000-meter run. 
 
Saturday's events begin at 11 a.m. with the women's discus throw. The meet will end after the conclusion of the men's 4x400-meter relay at 4:35 p.m. on Saturday.

HOW TO WATCH/STAY TUNED
Spectators are welcome to travel to Knoxville. The meet will be held at the Tom Black Track at University of Tennessee. 
 
The meet will be livestreamed on SEC Network+. There is no livestream Thursday. Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. can be seen HERE. Friday from 2 p.m. until the end of the day will be shown HERE. Saturday starting at 11 a.m. will be aired HERE. Live results will be available HERE. Stay tuned to our social media channels for the live results link and for upddates throughout the meet.
 
WHERE WE LEFT OFF
The Cincinnati team last competed at home at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational, where the men's and women's teams won 13 different events. Four school records have been broken so far this season.
