CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's tennis team closes out its late season homestand with Wichita State and DePaul inside Western Athletic Club this weekend.
Cincinnati hosts conference opponent Wichita State on Friday at 1 p.m. ET followed by a 3:30 p.m. ET match with DePaul on Saturday.
The Bearcats will honor Sofia Bruno, Hayley Hirsch, Cassie McLay, Kelli Niehaus and Maria Santilli for their athletic and academic achievements on Saturday. Team Impact's Logan Cover will also be recognized for her accomplishments and support of the program. Ceremonies are set to start at 5:30 p.m. ET.

Cincinnati is 4-3 at home this season and is coming off a home sweep over Northern Kentucky on Wednesday. The Bearcats have won ten of their last 14 home matches dating back to last season. The matches conclude a six-match home stretch, which is the longest of the season and the longest under head coach Eric Toth.
Wichita State heads into the weekend 9-8 overall this season. Friday will be the first conference match for the Shockers. Graduate student Harriet Hamilton leads the team with a 10-3 singles record, while the tandem of graduate student LingWei Kong and redshirt junior Natsumi Kurahashi have compiled a team-best 8-5 doubles record in the dual match season.
DePaul enters the weekend 9-6 overall, 4-0 in the Big East this season. The Blue Demons are led by graduate student Valentina Martin and freshman Hannah Smith, who have each posted a team-best seven singles victories this spring. Smith and junior Greta Carbone have also combined for a 7-3 doubles record.
Cincinnati will conclude the regular season with a pair of road matches in Tulsa, Okla. next weekend, starting with a tilt against Oral Roberts on Friday, April 7.
