CINCINNATI  The University of Cincinnati football program will send 14 NFL prospects to 2025 Big 12 Pro Day this week
  
The 14 Bearcats are among the more than 200 prospects who will participate in the conference-wide Pro Day which will take place in Frisco, Texas at the Ford Center at The Star from Tuesday to Friday. 
  
The NFL Network will be broadcasting live from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday and Thursday.  
 
Player workouts will begin at 10:15 a.m. ET on Wednesday, March 19 with the offensive linemen followed by defensive linemen and linebackers. Running backs and tight ends will kick off the action on Thursday, March 20 at 10:15 a.m. ET followed by quarterbacks and defensive backs. Friday will be the specialists' morning on the field.
  
Highlighting the UC contingent is former Ohio Mr. Football and Cincinnati native, Corey Kiner and two-time all-Big 12 first team member Luke Kandra. Kiner became the fifth Bearcat to rush for over 1,000 yards in consecutive seasons in 2023-24, and he also ranked fourth in the nation last year in forced missed tackles with 80. Kandra was the top-rated right guard in the Big 12 during his time at Cincinnati, only allowing one sack over 24 games. Kandra earned various All-American honors in 2023 and 2024, most notable Walter Camp and AP honors in 2023.

TE Joey Beljan 
2024: The New Jersey native spent his first five seasons at Western Kentucky as a walk-on (2018-22), totaling 10 touchdowns, 29 receptions and 282 total receiving yards in his career... Caught six touchdown passes and made 14 receptions en route to honorable mention All-Conference USA accolades in 2021…Added 15 receptions for 191 yards and four scores in 2022…Was nominated for the 2021 Burlsworth Trophy, which is awarded each year to college football's most outstanding player who began his career as a walk-on…Before college, starred at Delaware Valley High School, playing as both a tight end and linebacker. 
 
OL Luke Kandra

DB Josh Minkins 
2024: Productive veteran safety who tallied 45 tackles to go along with two interceptions and four pass breakups over 11 games … Suffered an injury at Pitt, but missed only one game and returned to start against Houston…His first-quarter interception against the Cougars sparked a 34-0 shutout victory for the Bearcats…Also had a first-quarter interception against Pitt, stopping the Panthers' opening drive with an interception in the end zone…Opened the season with three pass breakups versus Towson in his Cincinnati debut…Had six tackles and one TFL at Texas Tech…Finished with six stops at both Texas Tech and UCF…Helped lead UC past Big 12 Champion Arizona State, 24-14, by making three tackles…Finished with five tackles at Colorado… Made three stops versus West Virginia and at Iowa State.

2024: Started all 12 games at defensive end...Collected 20 tackles, six tackles for loss, four sacks, and six quarterback hurries...Tallied two sacks in the win at Miami (Ohio) to help Cincinnati reclaim the Victory Bell...Had one sack in the season opener vs. Towson...Was disruptive in the shutout victory vs. Houston, recording three tackles, 1.5 TFL, one sack, and forcing a fumble...Two tackles and two QB hurries in the win against eventual Big 12 Champion Arizona State...Had three tackles and a hurry at Iowa State.  
 
K Nathan Hawks 
2024: Connected on 13-of-17 field goals and 24-of-26 PATs…Made last six field goals to end the season…Three field goals of at least 50 yards, tied for the most in a season in school history…Took over field goal kicking duties at Miami (Ohio)…First field goal attempt of FBS career was a 55-yarder at Miami, which he made….That kick was the longest by a UC kicker since 2007 and tied for the second-longest field goal in program history…Also made a 50-yarder in the fourth quarter vs. the RedHawks… just the fourth FBS kicker since 1996 to have his first two career field goal attempts come from 50-plus yards and make both, joining South Carolina's Mitch Jeter (2022), North Carolina's Dan Orner (2002), and Texas A&M's Terence Kitchens (1999)… Additionally, joined Michigan's Quinn Nordin (2017) as the only two FBS kickers since 1996 to make multiple 50-plus yard field goals in their first career FBS contest…Went 2-for-2 on field goals vs. Houston, making a 46-yarder…Made a 51-yard field goal at UCF…Connected on a 46-yard field goal in the win vs. Arizona State…Made lone field goal attempt at Colorado, a 32-yarder…Made 29-yard field goals vs. West Virginia and at Iowa State…Booted a 42-yard field goal at Kansas State…Also handled kickoff duties for all 12 games, booting 26 touchbacks.
