LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Cincinnati men's 4x400 relay team broke the school record for the fourth time this season, and the women recorded five All-Big 12 performances as the Bearcats' track and field program concluded the conference championships.

Both men's and women's teams finished 10th, earning 35 and 28 points, respectively. The men have upped their total in each of their three Big 12 seasons.

Individual podium finishes included Macaela Walker (fifth, 60-meter hurdles), Omolola Kuponiyi (seventh, shot put), Davenae Fagan (fifth, 400-meter), Kya Epps (eighth, 200-meter) and Prince Mcabelo (fourth, 1,000-meter).

The men's relay group (John Apel, Camden Beatty, Romaro Knight, Ade Lloyd) recorded a 3:07.83 mark. The women's 4x400, which was fifth until all four groups in the final heat beat them out, still produced the second-best performance in school history with a 3:37.00 behind Fagan, Morgan Komolafe, Epps and Walker.

There were 19 PRs in all for the Bearcats over the weekend.

Miller Mabury captured UC's freshman heptathlon record with a 5427, including PRs in the shot put, 60m and long jump.
