The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams closed out their regular season Saturday at the Jim Greene Invitational, wrapping up two days of competition at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex in Lexington.

LEXINGTON, Ky. — The University of Cincinnati men's and women's track and field teams closed out their regular season Saturday at the Jim Greene Invitational, wrapping up two days of competition at the UK Outdoor Track & Field Complex in Lexington.

On the track, Kya Epps took third place in the 100 meters with a time of 11.49 seconds, while Ethan Long finished sixth in the men's 100 in 10.57. Jacob Sebaugh placed sixth in the 5,000m with a time of 14 minutes, 19.93 seconds.

Emarie Jackson led the way in the field events, finishing fourth in the shot put with a throw of 15.72 meters — a personal record that ranks sixth all-time in program history. Teammate Omolola Kuponiyi was close behind in fifth place at 15.62m, also a PR and eighth all-time.

In the discus, Sydney Foglesong posted a sixth-place finish with a throw of 48.35m, a personal record that ranks 10th all-time. Seth Apple finished seventh at 53.52m, a mark that slots ninth in program history. Rania Brown rounded out the discus results with an eighth-place finish at 46.66m, a personal record.

Macaria Moore-Bastide and Annika Kinley tied for second place in the high jump, each clearing 1.76m.

Cincinnati will have a week off before heading to Tucson, Ariz., to compete in the Big 12 Outdoor Championships. The competition, hosted by the University of Arizona at Drachman Stadium, will start on Thursday, May 14th, and run through Saturday, May 16th.
